Corrections
TopicFlex corrects substantive errors when they are verified. Use this page to understand what to send and how corrections are handled.
How to request a correction
Submit a request through our contact form. Please include:
- The full article URL
- The exact passage you believe is incorrect
- The correction you believe should be made
- A supporting source URL whenever possible
How we handle requests
- Acknowledge the report through the contact form.
- Verify the claim against primary or official sources.
- Amend the article when a correction is warranted and keep a record of the material change.
- For substantive factual corrections, add a visible correction note on the article that states what changed, why, and the date corrected.
Visible correction note format
When a material factual change is made after publication, the article should include a note such as:
Correction (2026-03-12): Updated the recommended packing weight limit because the airline's published carry-on guidance changed.
Spelling and style vs. factual corrections
- Spelling, grammar, formatting, and minor clarity edits may be updated without a correction note.
- Changes to facts, figures, named entities, safety guidance, or conclusions require a visible correction note.
